De Jong

Any thoughts on him?

I thought he looked solid enough, no real problems adapting although towards the end he was visibly tired and a little off pace although that's to be expected really especially as, from what I can gather, he hasnt played a full game for some time.

Zab was great today as he was against Wigan.

What I especially liked was whenever Newcastle were trying to mix it and act hard with some of our softer players Zab would dive in and sort it out. No pissing about, I'm starting to love him. He's potentially a nutter but fuck it he's everything you'd want in a defensive midfielder and he always looks pretty dangerous when he goes forward.

Yep we're finally starting to look like a decent mixture of flair and graft

De Jong won me over immediately tonight and when he's back to full fitness will be an immense signing.

Bellamy did great too, there was a guy in front of me absolutely slating him all night, when he scored we grabbed his hat and swung it round our heads!

We look a much more solid unit already and we can only grow from here, still thin on quality squad players and Joe Hart doesn't deserved to be dropped.

Gotta agree re De Jong. He made a few errors, looked a touch shaky but he's new to the league plus not 100% fit yet so it's understandable really. He'll be a great signing or at least so far he looks like he will!

People slating Bellamy is fucking stupid, so he's a bit of a nob or at least he's been a bit of a nob but then so have a few of our better players lest we forget. Too many miserable moaning twats at Coms for me!

Agree re the squad but we're getting there slowly.

As for Hary, he had a decent game, still a bit shaky at times, or is it just me? Doesnt deserve to be dropped but if we're going to be the club we want to be then everyone will have to get used to scrapping for their place.

Both were awesome, De Jong looks like afucking pit bull.
