An excellent signing. Shift VK to CB alongside Ned, and play Nigel just in front of Vince. They should blend together well considering their Hamburg days together.
Not sure I'd like to cross him though! Just what we need to protect the back 4. Well done to whoever sealed the deal.

Just a thought. Does Nigel arriving mean the end for Johnson. If everybody is fit, it's hard to see where you could play him. Consequently, would he be happy being a "squad" player. I don't think he would.

Lets give Zab a few more games in midfield before putting him down as a definite starter there.
Hughes has done a great job assembling a versitile squad though... Each of those (bar perhaps Bridge) can cover a number of positions.

As much as I love the fact that we can now be linked with players like Kaka (spit!) I do think that players like De Jong are the true path to real solid foundations.
We need to have depth with solid performers and I think Hughes' signings are indicative of that so far.
