his last game for brazil was as bad, he was invisible for the majority of the game. we could have nicked it at the end but that doesnt make up fo the dissapointment i feel right now.

having said that im just looking at the match stats and they paint a very rosy picture .....

city possesion....72% (which i cant quite believe)
city shots 21 (8 on 13 off) newcatle shots 5 (2 on 3 off)
city pass success 89%
city corners 10 newcastle 5

so there are positives, and lets not forget the barcodes are scrapping for their lives.

micah was playing a far more attacking role tonight and was unlucky not to score or win us a penalty, i think hughes is trying to work out how best to use his pace and presence. Shaun looked good all game but became a bit frustrated. stevie kept plugging away his final ball wasnt his best at times but still very effective. Defensively we will be better when Zab is back , i do think the left back slot is a bit of a problem but we are not in deep trouble with it.

No not in deep trouble but we do need a center and left back.

i too have been supporting city for over 30 odd years or so arab money or not hughes is a shite manager ive seen enough at city to make my mind up

Well you maineman are part of the problem and if you have been a fan for 30+ years you should know that choping the manager has never done us any good ever maybe a bit of stability wouldnt go amiss
