City Vs Barcodes
I want to predict a loss, just so I don't jinx us. However, I think we are going to absolutely batter them.

Give me a scrappy, boring 1-0 win now, and I'll take it. Bellamy to score against his old club.

Re: City Vs Barcodes
Typical!!
Was looking forward to a few beers and watching it on a stream tonight.
Lee started with chest pains this morning though so I took him to the Walk In Medical Centre after work tonight and then we were told they didn't have a clue what was wrong with him. They paid for a taxi to take us to A and E and after 3 hours of heart tests, blood tests and xrays it appears that he has pleurisy. When we first got there the Triage nurse said that she thought it was cardiac related so I guess pleurisy is good news. It's strange really because I had it once too at his age.
Got to give it to Lee though... he also wanted regular updates on the score and I managed to get someone (BM73/BillyBudd) to let me know.
My lad is a TRUE BLUE.
Did we play OK? Glad Bellamy scored. I love it when some players who get stick do that.

Re: City Vs Barcodes
We should have slaughtered them after we went 1-0 up Mac but typically we decided instead to try to play amazingly sexy football, nowt wrong with that but we werent direct enough. 2nd half Newcastle improved and we looked a bit dodgy for a 10/15 minute spell. Bellamys goal was well taken, he had a great game too, should have killed it but as usual we let them back into the game on 80mins and we had to endure 16, yes 16, minutes of pain until full time.
Zab in midfield was amazing. Robinho his usual self if a little quiet, same with Ireland, SWP bit better than usual, Bellamy great, De Jong decent debut but looked a bit shaky at times but that's to be expected really. Kompany and Ned were strong at the back.

Cheers TMQ. 16 minutes until the end then? Same old City eh? Were we trying to grab a third or was it backs to the wall? Or did we simply look confident and composed?
Please tell me it was the third option.

We broke a few times and mixed between time wasting, understandable really, and trying to grab a 3rd.
I think in time De Jong and Zab will rule our midfield
