Transfers

Realistically we are playing the waiting game as fans. It does add to the excitement of a footy packed summer, who will we get ? I have no idea who we will get but i trust bobby to get the team set up his way with his players . Gone are the days of aging payday seekers like mcmanamanaman , we will be getting players with a lot to give and a lot to prove. If we get milner its a sign of long term planning and not just "look at us we can sign anyone" , I wouldnt be upset if we got a "star name" but i think we will be buildin a team rather than a bunch of superstars. Bring it on!!!!!!

I still can't get used to looking forward to the transfer window. Too many years of dreading which of our best players would be fucking off to someone else.

not arsed looking till i read this, i have been on long enough to know 99% is crap and i can't be arsed trying to figure out the 1% that isn't

I go on BM and read the ITK's.

Then I go on SSN and/or read the press and see reality.

The two do not add up for me.

Two full backs that can play ball. Micah can go for me. So one left and one right. Boateng and a left back would do me.

So a pick of a defense from Zab, Boateng, Komps, Lescott, Toure, Neds, Boyata, New Left Back and Bridge as a backup left full.

A new midfielder to thread a pass and get on the end of things in the box if Ireland is going to continue acting the bitch. A box to box midfielder just in case Johnno breaks down again

Midfield of AJ, SWP, Bellers, Petty (I'd keep him) Nige, Barry, Paddy V (Keep him too) plus 1 new creative one and one new young box to box type. Plus the young lads like Weiss and Ibrahim

I'd keep Ade and Carlos and I wouldn't mind seeing one or two coming in to supplement.. we really need to clear out the dead wood in this department.

Plus we might see Nimley and David Ball, maybe even Robbie Mak get a run in cup games.

We don't need much, but what we get has to be quality to push on next season

I've been having a quick look at 'bitter n dipper' it would send a few of them over the edge if we signed Arteta. Look at some of these comments.

A player of his class should just reach the highest end of football he can get to when the opourtunity arises. I dont think he'd want to go down the road on the off chance they "could" get into the Champions League. They've already used that chessnut and spent £300million and didnt get it...and a fair few of them players who were promised this and that will be jumping ship or shipped out.

Citeh have coin and empty promises of reaching the promise land.

Until they get there, then they can attract top talant. Until then, Arteta has more chance of going Spurs than Citeh....and that's saying something.
