gutted (bloody fixtures)

am gutted because its beyond my control. I have been to every first team game at coms, all the league games all the friendlys all the cup games , every single one. I was at the last game at maine road. So currently the total of consecutive games at home for me stands at 148. I will be at the arsenal game making 149. But due to me having to go into hospital for a minor operation on the 23rd september , the day of the fulham game, my run of games has to come to an end, one shy of my 150. Why oh why oh bloody why couldnt we have played this on the tuesday or the thursday.
I will be at the west ham game, but will have to reset the clock to 1.

Even my rag mates were impressed with my record , they may have doubted my sanity at times (mind you so did I) but always respected my devotion to our club. I know there are probably plenty of people out there who have not missed games for much longer than me, but I am proud of my attendance record. Im now just praying for about 6 foot of snow that day so it gets postponed .
