Re: city v aaaaaaaaalborg
A nice steady 2-0 will do for me tonight (wouldn't turn down 4 or 5 though!). Yep; 2-0 tonight, then grab an away goal over in bacon country. That should do it; couldn't see them getting 4 against us, now that the defence is looking a bit more solid.

0-0 or 1-1. I have a feeling we'll need to win away.

Re: city v aaaaaaaaalborg
I'm getting in the match spirit early. I've just had a chippy tea and I'm on my second Vodka and Coke.
I can tell City are on telly cos Elaine is praying like fuck that we win, and she's a rag.
Apparently I get in a bit of a mood if we lose.
As soon as it kicks off, she'll fuck off on the computer, out of the way

Looks like he's back on form Pip. He had a quiet 3 or 4 months over the winter, but the signs are promising for the spring. And the goal was sublime!pipadee wrote:What a 'typical' Sweep goal that was.

I am too, though would've been more happy had we got another goal. Least we didn't concede which in this competition is crucial.
SWP got MoM, my MoM was Stevie. Everything we did went through him. He was instrumental in all the good moves.

Re: city v aaaaaaaaalborg
Night Alf.
(Have I told you I am off work this week?)
Pleased we didn't concede tonight, but this is City and anything come happen in the second leg. I expect us to be getting beat 2/0 and then for us to sneak a goal in the last five minutes.
If that happens though I will get a contract out on us.

Re: city v aaaaaaaaalborg
Should have put this one to bed within the first 45... Robbie showed the rest of the team how to work at times, pressing defeners which was good too see.
Evans won more headers in 10 mins than Caicedo had all game, sublime and ridiculous with Caicedo right now, but hes still very much developing.
Hopefully our failure to put the game to bed in the second half along with a few missed chances on thier part means we'll be in the hat for the least 8!
Truly embarrassing attendence again, but i wont get into that on here

Re: city v aaaaaaaaalborg
If I lived closer I'd be there like a shot. Being 170 miles away and not having any holiday left to take this year, means I can't go!
I will go to the semis if we get there though!

Haha don't worry im not judging anyone at all, and even if i was, who am i for anyone to get upset over my opinion?
It's all kicked off again over the road (unsurprisingly) both sides seem to be blinkered in thier reasons, but i'll tell you one thing, if we do get to the final all hell will break loose as everyone is suddenly available and financially able to bid for a ticket.

Like i said i dont want to get into it on here but had i attended or not i would feel the same way... You can't be proud looking round the ground or watching it on tv and seeing our attendence down 50% because its a Uefa Cup game.

You can't be arsed getting into it, yet manage to put your opinion across. How does that work ?
