I think i let my heart rule my head and i believed that he would come. As it turns out he (kaka) seems to have the same love for milan that i do for city and in that he needs to be respected. i would have loved it if he came to us but, i dont see this as an end to the desire of our new owners to bring us world class players. However we may see a more measured aproach in the future , we all know that you have to build from basics and achieve a level of consistancy before you can push on and really challenge, just look at villa. The big advantage we have now is that we have the financial backing to be able to do that. Yes we are a work in progress but this time we will get there and we will achieve something more tangible in the next few years.

Not happy but not distraught, and for those worried about the pisstaking and "i told you he wouldnt come to you" comments, dont let it bother you, if you cant take the stick we may get from this, you dont remember the bad times (and boy have we had some of them).

Heads high boys and girls , and dont forget this whole saga has meant we were headline news all over the world for quite a while, quite something when you remember just how average we have been at times this season.
