IF we get him then I expect the floodgates to really open up in the Summer window.

I think we're being cautious as a club but that's a good thing, let's not forget the whole Robinho/Chelsea saga, there's a real lesson there.

As you're all probably aware, I'm something of a gobshite at times so I'm finding this hard to keep underwraps. I really want to give it to the rags big time but I've been here before and looked a twat so I'm trying to wait til it's a done deal before I go mental.

I'm hopeful but my natual pessimism is strong

Well, as a kid I had two close mates who were Italian and one used to like AC, so I'm more in the know than most on BM

I can see the good signs yep but I'm just being cautious. I mean, if we sign him I think my happiness will peak but if we don't there is every chance I will become angry/emotional and no one needs that

It's just so important cos it isnt just about Kaka, if we get him then the rest follow and then come trophies, dominance, 2 derby wins a season, the whole thing!

I always cry when we beat the rags.

It's the emotions that have been pent up all day that do it.

When we played Blackburn in 2000 on the last day to go up I had to walk around the front room for an hour before I went to the pub to watch it. I had a terrible pain in my lower stomach that only constantly walking cures. I have had it for years at times of stress but it usually happens at night to be honest.

God knows how I will be if we ever get to a Cup Final or have a chance of winning the Prem!!

I can't talk about winnig the League or even challenging for it... it just doesn't seem... right

Plus if we get Kaka we still have Vass/Benjani and a bunch of not ready kids as squad players... As Benarbia says one swallow doesn't make our summer, we've few palyers after our starting XI who will be with us long term if we are to reach the goals our owner has set.

This is all really surreal.
