No. I'm happy enough with that squad. Given the budgetary restraints I feel it's not too bad a squad. I wanted a ''decent'' midfield and forward line as that's where most points are earned. Kun and Suarex weren't cheap, neither was Silva and Adam. Nearly £40m on those 4. I wanted Kompany in, Cahill is a good defender and Liverpool should be good for a few clean sheets (at Dipperfield anyway), hence Enrique. I did have Hart in an earlier lineup but I had to raise some candy to get Sergio. As for midfield, Silva is self-explanatory, Jarvis did well in FF last season (only 1 or 2 points behind Nasri IIRC), and Adam should get a few free kicks and, after last weekend, a few penalties as well! And with Wilshere; well, with Fab abd Nasri leaving, he'll be one of the main men in the Arse midfield this season and he'd be in for Jarvis if he wasn't injured. Sinclair? Well, I didn't have that much money left! Shawcross is an adequate back up defender. Looking at the Chelsea squad;

there isn't that many affordable players that I'd want. Maybe Mikel in for Sinclair but I think Sinclair will play more games for Swansea than Mikel will for Chelsea.

Decent assessment that Jim, although with Chalesea's up coming fixtures i've backed Torres and ditched Malouda. I did have Lampard in my original line up. I have a sneaking suspicion that with his advancing years and deeper role, that this may be the year he doesn't become a 'must have'.

I've also decided last minute to re jig my team to fit Aguero in. I've downgraded Cole to Bosingwa, now i have to decide whether Mancini will start Ageuro on Sunday, if not i'll go with Dzeko this week.

Has to be that. You can only have 3 from any one team. That is why, when I was looking to raise some cash to buy Kun, Hart had to go as I (then) had him VK and Yaya. Now it's VK, Silva and Kun.

Must have a few spare shillings then. £2.5m difference in value between Ed and Kun. Dzeko had a stormer the other night, but I'm just not sure how often he'll play, particularly if Joorabchian's plaything decides to hang around.

It is a hard call with our forwards if Tevez stays and knuckles down again.

Maybe Mancini wont stand for his shit anymore now he has Kun instead, I also feel Dz plays better with a partner so hopefully it will lead to two upfront in future, they did work well together and Silva in a triangle.

Reminiscant of Ireland, Elano, Robinho at their peak for Hughes, when they where playing well obviously lol

Agreed. As of right now, (mostly thanks to Monday night), I find myself salivating more at the thought of Kun & Dzeko with Silva behind them, than Tevez roaming all over and Silva trying to find him.
