How realistic is it?

I'd be high;y disappointed if we got him. granted he wins trophies but at the expense of football. His teams cheat. Big time cheat. He is a one trick pony, his tactic when things are going wrong is to bring a centre back to centre forward and boot the ball long for 15 minutes. I couldn't stand the diving and moaning to the ref.

I would never stop supporting City, but I wouldn't be paying flights, accomo and tickets over to see a Mourinho team. I just couldn't bring myself to do it.

What is wrong with people wanting Manini out? they need their heads examined. And why is Hughes now the antichrist, people need to remember that he has us in this position with the players he bought in..

I agree wholeheartedly and word for word for that matter, I have posted similar about "The Special One" plenty in the past here and over on BM.

he always was the antichrist from the day he arrived as far as i am concerned. If i ever forget that i just remind myself of his atrocious away record in the league, 4 wins in 18 months.

As for mancini I am very happy with him at the helm. If we change managers again in the summer it wont be down to any failings on his part, it will be down to something that has already been put in place.

As for the special one, from a personal point of view if he was to come I would have no problem with that, but am sane enough (just) to realise what we have already is very special.

I know it's not the wisest thing to use bluemoon as a barometer, but as I am the only City I know in Cork it's the only utility I have to gauge opinion, the majority seem to think Mourinho in, Roberto out.

I hope that is only the FM and Fifa types.

I like Mourinho from a "he's quite funny" perspective. And yes, he wins things, but I'm unsure whether I want the circus to be about him rather than City.

We have to stick with the scarfed one; have to. He has us heading in the right direction; hopefully fourth this season, and that after the anti-climactic opening few months of the season. Who knows what we might achieve next season, but we need continuity at management level. On a related issue, I see the Hughes outers having their regular digs at our former manager. And yet, they'd still accuse the "Hughes inners" of prolonging the argument.

My only concern is if Italy come calling to him after the WC to coach them. Maybe that's where all this Jose talk has come from the club looking for a snap replacement should it happen.

Seems to be 2 camps, certainly on the cross section that is BM.

Those who don't want him because of how he is, negative football, general knobheadness.

Those who want him despite all that just because he wins things.

So it seems to be about what's most important, winning, or keeping our soul and what we've built our pride on after all this time.

Personally, the 'win at all costs' mentality is the epitome of ragness IMO, and therefore I say:

FORZA MANCINI!

We can keep our would and win things, wecsn keep our soul and adopt a win at all costs mentality... Infact we have to do that to carry on rthe path were on.

I like Mourinho because he's talented and has charisma.

I don't care who our manager is next season, were going to have to be successful whilst our owners are here, I just hope we instill a level of dignuty in our culture that's currently missn at the top clubs

I've said it before on BM, and I repeat it here; changing managers willy-nilly has achieved fuck all this past thirty-odd years. Is it just coincidence that the two most successful managers in the history of the premiership are the two longest serving?

A rag in the pub tonight couldn't stop wanking over him tonight.

"You can't afford him" was my response.

Shut him up.
