If our league position

Is responsible for Kaka turning us down, then ADUG will be livid with the man responsible. Short of winning the UEFA cup, Leslie is a dead man walking.

he as been for a while from my point of view.

ADUG said they wanted to finish top 4 THIS season, obviously that was a touch unrealistic but we all felt that the squad that finished 9th last season (in truth we fell to 9th after being awful and could/should have finished higher) was capable of pushing top 6, perhaps finish 5th or something.

I'm sure if we were currently 4th tho, as we were this time last season, we'd be a much more attractive side for anyone at all and not such a joke, in everyone elses eyes.

Having said that I reckon Kaka is ours one way or another.

I was arguing with a rag this morning, as usual.

He was giving it the usual 'oh he wont sign for city and if he does its just for cash', I hit back with the fact Robinho said he likes the idea of starting a fresh project as opposed to carrying on winning traditions and pointed out that Ferdinand/Shrek etc joined the scum for money. To which he replied 'no, they join us for tradition', I managed to not cave his skull in with a paving stone, just. But fuck them, ive had enough and Kaka will be ours baby, he has to be.

i still think Hughes could build a dynasty here and be here for most if not all of his career if we gave him the time. He's building everything in the right way for the long term it seems.

I think this transfer window and our final league position unfortunately will seal his fate either way come the end of May.

Either way, if Kaka turning us down means Hughes goes...

I could be wrong but one of the Sheiks deffo mentioned top 4 this season initially yeah
