I wonder if it will be reported as a fire sale like Chanel number 5 did on us in the summer

I remembered Hart
Although i'd take an experienced number 2 who would be happy to sit on the bench. Hart hasn't really let us down in the 2-3 seasons he's been our number 1 i don't see any reason to halt his progress now just because we can.
It's players like him, ireland etc who were here before the money that will hold our team together in the future... imo of course

Re: Chelsea for sale ??
Thats why Weaver is bottom of the Championship and Hart is being tipped as a long term option for England?

Well if you are goint to be like that
Same age are they ?
Look im not into slagging players off tbh
I have played in goals a fair bit in my life and Hart has many faults (not saying he isnt good) the major one for me is when somebody shoots it back across him, he has been beaten there more than i would care to count, its as if he is to worried about being beaten on his near post (as all goalies know is criminal) and gets to far across.
Besides if Smeics had 4 more inches (besides the fact is girlfriend would be overjoyed) i believe he would be the better keeper out of them both.
He is a far better shot stopper and his distribution is miles better and the only thing Hart beats him on is crosses and that is marginal when you see him punching.

Re: Chelsea for sale ??
Think your giving Hart a very raw deal there, i wouldn't like to count the number of times he's pulled off a save that i was already thinknig would end up as a goal.
As you said, different age range, one starting his career the other ending thiers, Weaver's experience is bound to show through over Hart's vulrability.
If we always kept young players away from the harsh realities of what they're being prepared for, how can we ever properly prepare them?
Hart was voted 3rd best keeper in the league by fans last season, he isn't seen as a weak link by opposition so why buy some superstar name just for the sake of it?
I don't think he has any glaring weaknesses as Kasper did, communication and any ariel ball or player. So thats why Hart was chosen ahead of Kasper by Sven and Hughes.
For me, Hart is good enough to keep his place and will grow faster by being given the responsibility week in week out

Re: Chelsea for sale ??
Hart is an established prem goalie. An achievement that should be applauded at such a young age. Far from the finished article though.
Much better than Weaver was though at that age, mainly because he is playing at a higher level AND has a much more balanced and mature approach.

Can we buy them then offer the Scum the ground as it's near their own fanbase?
Re: Chelsea for sale ??
My other half, (a norwich fan for some reason) wants to do rude things to joe hart, I havent seen such keeper worship since emma (orange wkd) fell in love with david james, arse. (shazza will understand)
