He wanted to go to Chelsea. He was like a cat who had got the cream when he got there.

He has only come back to us because it is convenient. I like the lad (always have....probably too much when he was ours the first time) and I do understand that the City board and his Dad played their part in him leaving....but if it had gone better there he would have stayed there without a backward glance at us.

The only part of the whole thing that pissed me off was him leaving without a word to the fans, especially after his message to the chelsea fans on Thursday.


However, he's a City player again, he's just scored twice on his debut, we've won three times in 7 days and not conceded a goal in open play. What more can we ask for?
