I thought Nadal might collapse in this last set but he has surprised me. He must very tough mentally.

What a bummer!!

I can't understand why they don't start the matches earlier. I'm sure there must be a good reason, but I'd like to know what it is.

I thought he bottled it in the 4th set tie break. Double fault was bad. I hope he wins though.

He was rushing and snatching at shots....always a bad sign.

Got to admit that I am now wanting him to win. If only because it would show a tremendous strength of character.

Kudos to Fed though....probably the greatest champion I have ever seen.

He is, and although i don't want him to beat Borg's record I think both finalists have played excellently. It's nice to see some character in men's tennis again.

Did you used to like Borg? I didn't....I was a McEnroe fan.

But Nastase was my favourite.

So glad nadal won. Only recently got into tennis and he is the reason why.

Would have bet my house he was going to fold in the deciding set. A Champion worthy of taking Fed's crown.

I have seen some fantstic matches, but that was the best ever. Wonderful final and a great champion.

Hard to call wasn't it? Right up to the end I didn't have a clue who was going to win.

Just so glad it didn't roll over into Monday.

Can't see Nadal doing much dancing at the dinner tonight though.
