City vs Villa (FA Cup Rd 5)

Post by jimharri on March 2nd 2011, 00:51

Massive (sorry!) incentive for us with that result from Goodison. Come on Bob; go for it. Beat Villa and we have a championship side (a mid table side at that) in the quarter final.. With no disrespect to Reading, we have a great chance of getting to a semi final. 2-0 tomorrow night, Tevez and Balotelli (if he's not being a mard arse). If he is, Barry against his old club.

The draw has opened up for a semi with the rags. Lets hope we don't fuck it up as is traditional.

A scrappy 1-0.

He says he wants to win the cup, yet he picks only one out and out forward against a side with a makeshift defence (two of their first choice back four out). And Vieira and Barry (the rapid twins) in midfield.

Hopefully, there's a lot of ''what the fuck do you know'' types of posts come 10 o'clock tonight.

Beating them to win our first trophy since 1976 would have some poetic justice but losing and watching them gloat would be too much for some.

I remember the Merseyside Wembley derby and all the scousers were holding hands on the train down and drinking with each other. Can you imagine us and the rags being civil to each other ? London would be like Beirut.

I couldnt handle the stress of a derby final at all, even more than a final against any other team, not as if we are well practised in it after all.

Shocked

I'd be a nervous wreck if we had to play them. Although, perversely, I'd almost prefer to play them than Arsenal. Think we'd be more likely to beat Norwich than Arsenal. Though losing to them would be the cunt to end all cunts.
