Did you see how he pulled up ? He'd spent the whole of the second half warming up and he wasn't doing anything over strenuous. It's not like he was running full pelt or over stretching.
Huge risk spending anything over £20M on him imo. I suspect we'd be paying nearer £50M though. Even at £20M it's a big gamble on his fitness.

although tbh I don't think we are that desperate for a forward.

Re: Torres
We can do without another RSC, even if he does score when he's on the pitch

Re: Torres
For those who believe, Tolmie has just said we have ended all interest in Torres. Thank fuck for that!

Re: Torres
I've had hamstring problems all my not so illustrious career. They are a bloody nightmare, I'd tend to agree with Stony here. They are never really gone and you can't manage them, you just patch them up and play until they go again, a pure curse.
The only one I've ever seen manage them is Giggs. he had massive problems with them but that all stopped!

Re: Torres
Mine are like piano wire, always been a problem for me. Had to get up really early match days and stretch the fuckers for a couple of hours.
One went once and it was like being shot in the back of the leg

Re: Torres
Even the dippers on RAWK are coming to the conclusion that Torres is fucked. One cheeky wag suggested only City are dumb enough to buy him now.
The clueless cunts even blame the Spanish national team for all his injuries. What a bunch of window lickers.
Rafa could bum their kids and they'd still make excuses for him.

Torres has been rushed back from every injury he ever had at Dipperpool. It was bound to take effect. I hope he recovers. he is a good player and seems a decent sort too.

I had my left one detach from my arse and roll up/down. Manky it was.

When I was waiting for my double hip replacement I lost most of the movement in my legs. I couldn't move them more than a couple of inches in any direction. When they did the op ,they couldn't actually prise my legs open so they had to cut into the muscle in my groin. Because it was an unexpected part of the op they hadn't pre shaved me.
A week later they had to take the dressing off and the tape was stuck to all the pubes on my knackers. I ended up with one completely hairless bollock and my scream was heard three wards away

Re: Torres
You're overlooking something there. Giggs (or Sir Ryan if the rags and their mates in the meeja had their way) only ever suffered from his hamstrings in the run up to a Welsh game. Come the following weekend, he had miraculously recovered in time to play for ''TWGC''.sdavros wrote:I've had hamstring problems all my not so illustrious career.
