27-0 to gods own
this game could and should have been played ages ago but sky in their wisdom chose to put it on wednesday. If we play anything like I know we can we will win and then its truely in our own hands come sunday.
This game is even more important than the semi final aginst the rags. The rags , and i hate to say it, are a better side than the spuds and we did them at ours so i dont see why we cant do this lot.

Think we all know why sky decided to play it on this date.

Perfect scenario: We cruise past Spurs, several goals to nil, leaving their confidence shattered and ours sky high. This means we beat WHU and Burnley manage to beat Spurs, leaving us comfortably in the CL spot.
Typical City scenario: We beat Spurs, but lose to WHU, Spurs cruise past Burnley, leaving us with the '£400000 million spent and can't even get 4th' tag.
Worst case scenario: We draw with or lose to Spurs, guaranteeing them CL football. They then go on to lose to Burnley, meaning we literally lose out on CL football by a single goal. Bluemoon breaks, and noose sales rocket.

Draw tomorrow, then Twitcher's mob draw at the Dingles while we win 1-0 at Wham, courtesy of a last minute header from Marton Fulop off a Bellamy corner. Remember where you heard it first!

It's going into meltdown on BM.
Feel a bit sick tonight, but honest here I have had MUCH worse days watching City.

Too much too soon.
The benchmark has been set; as long as Cook keeps faith in Bobby we'll have his type of players here in the Summer and we'll qualify as Champions. I don't think we are that far off.

Personally, other than a couple of players, I think the only person that needs to go is Cook.

european football on merit
beaten barcelona

been to a semi final for the first time in 29 years
highest pprem points total
highest prem league position
lost 3 home games in 12 months
finally found ot how to win away from home

Re: Biggest match this season. City V Spuds
Ok 24 hours on. Taking away the result, what a cracking night, crowd was awesome, bringing dickov and weaver out was genius , we know where we have been and dont forget, even though i doubted the opera thing it was amazing. I am fucking honoured to be a part of a club like city.
As a side note I watched last fridays ashes to ashes tonight and when gene hunt came out with "city are going to cane utd next season" i instinctively shouted "YES" at the top of my voice. Good job no one else was in the house or I would have had questions asked. Its small things like that that just make me remember just why this life long obsession with city means so fucking much.
