Re: gods own v dull
I am going for a scrappy 2-1 City win. Ade and Toure with the goals.

I think it will be tough game too. I think we will still win but only by a single goal. 2-1 CITY

Typical Fooking City.
What was Bobby Manc doing signing autographs throughout HT?

he got it very wrong today. Ireland on the right SWP on the bench. ??
Tevez and Ade together again - shite?
Playing Barry - Shite.
Boyata instead of Neds = Shite.
3DM's on the pitch when we were 2-0 down. Shiite

Re: gods own v dull
Something was not right today??
I'm starting to think Wenger sold us a pup with Toure.

he's not a natural centre half, by a long way.
Nothing was right today. Atrocious.
I don't give a fuck if I get accused of being negative but that shit is far from good enough. Fucking sick of all the apologists across the way too.
No excuses today, we didn't have the heart for it. That has happened far too often this season for us to even think about getting fourth

Re: gods own v dull
Only watching over the internet so i can't answer my question fully.
At the scunny game Vinny kept encouraging Boyata, talking, patting him on the back and that helped his game. When i've seen Toure he seemed aloof, saying nowt to micah. I wonder if that was the same today?
Could be wrong tho.

Wasn't he a centre half in the invincible season? As opposed to it not being his natural position, i'd more likely go with his backs fucked and he's struggling.
I'll accuse you of being overly negative, we were shit and lost today but we win our games in hand and we're 4th... so how have we been so poor this season to even think about forth, haven't we lost the least number of leagues, or close to it.

Re: gods own v dull
It's the performances G. The last three in the league (Everton, Pompey and today) have been poor. Couple that with the below par performances at the swamp and at Scunny, and it is a worrying trend.GStar wrote:sdavros wrote:mat wrote:Something was not right today??

Re: gods own v dull
Yea its a good point...
The old addage we're missing a lot of first teamers perhaps can contribute as a reason without actually being an excuse.
Ade/Toure/Ireland/Bridge/Vieria/Lescott/RSC are all just coming back or are yet to come back so we've options coming back to change the dynaimcs/set up of the team.
I thought we played well both legs of the CC (althoguh we set up too defensively) and we got through a tricky tie on a tiny pitch comfortably in the end versus Scunny.

Re: gods own v dull
We looked 100 times better with Johnson on. Just a shame that his directness was negated by having 3 DMs on the pitch at once.

It's hard to be overly positive after that, but yeah, I agree, showed me arse a bit.
I hate losing with a whimper though. At least we looked better when A.Johnson came on.
Anyway onwards and upwards
