Scousers on Bluemoon
Fuck me, I know it's the most liberal of all the City sites out there(and long may it continue to be) but the number of bitter Everton bastards on there, is taking the piss.

Re: Scousers on Bluemoon
That is true. The site has been inundated in the past couple of weeks by fans from other teams.
Lots of Spuds fans last week.
Strange that they cannot find anything better to do.

I guess they're finally taking us seriously... that jealousy Chelsea fans warned us about is really kicking in.

It's nice isn't it.
Strangely enough, the amount of bitterness from the barcodes has noticeably diminished. I'm even getting messages of goodwill "hope you make CL" etc.
I'm not sure if this is down to them not being our rivals at the moment or the fact that Duccy has been banned and their goodwill towards City fans has been restored.

It is, but i dont think BM paints us, as a collective, in a good light. Some of the threads with opposition fans get embarrassing. I'm enjoying this very surreal rise in the footballing world though.
Would you ever have thought even 5 years ago, we'd be able to watch Robinho. In the flesh. In a City shirt. Smiling.
I absolutely fucking love it!

I keep posting on the barcode forum defending us and ADUG and then I read it and I have to pinch myself to make me believe its true.
I still can't believe we are lucky enough to have the owners that we have.

I can't speak highly enough of our owners... I hope Hughes repays them this year, if nothing else because they've done everything the "right" way imo.

Re: Scousers on Bluemoon
Yeah, I remember the takeover day like it was yesterday. Hell, I even remember the day Frank bought us.
Prior to the takeover the most excited I have been about a City signing was Anelka. I was even happy with Fowler and McManaman (sadly enough).
I am quite often surprised about what I read on BM, but I realize that a lot of the very poor posters are still young and do not realize what they are saying or how it is interpreted.

Yeah they are very classy in the manner of how they operate. A nice change from Frank's "tightening the screws" last year.

True, i'm by no means "oldschool" as you can tell by my age, but i've seen a lot of it, been told about the rest. I honestly think we're a unique club that had a unique identity and unique values as a football club.
I think we'll loose those with success unfortunately, i think the type of fan we'll attract long term wont buy into the core values of the older supporters.
Just be proud you were around to witness it happen!

Hopefully, they'll all fuck off now Lescott has signed.
It became beyond a joke.
