Re: Stuart Taylor
A compentant keeper to step in when Shays injured.
Hopefully do the same for harty the season after next.
Remeber the arsenal game at maine road where he was saving every fooking thing we threw at him?

Re: Stuart Taylor
Now that is an underwhelming signing
Yes i do understand why, but if i was Smeics i would have kept my gob shut and stuck this season out as number 2 and secretly hoped Given injured himself.
I like Smeics and am a bit sick he is going, he was shit on by Sven by playing him until he signed a new deal then never been sighted again bar Brighton in the cup.

Re: Stuart Taylor
I don't rate Kasper tbh, I think he'll be lucky to land a No2 position in the Championship.

I always thought Kasper was good. I wanted to mix Joe and Kasper, and we'd have the perfect keeper.

Now that is the truth.
Kasper was a great shot stopper, distribution was good and could shout his mouth off (organise), not so great on crosses but that is all gained through experience, also this has never stopped James from being an international keeper nevermind his mad dash out of his box style
Why did City let Westwood go ? (tbf to city not one team bar carlisle seen something in him enough to sign him, he was about to join the police lol) but what a keeper he turned out to be, with him gone carlisle struggled using 4 keepers last year. (the best a young lad called Krull from the geordies, Givens move meant he was recalled)
Brilliant for Carlisle and moved to Coventry and now being eyed up for a return to the prem, he was better than Hart in the season he left Shrewsbury more clean sheets etc.

I think Kasper is just a little too short for the EPL.
I am more happy with this signing than I would have been with Paddy.
