Re: elano
Fucking good.
Had enough of his shite poor me, i am not getting picked and im a super star whining.
When infact in 2 seasons he has had maybe 15 good games.
Fuck off to Inter, the only thing i will miss is your penalty taking.

Re: elano
If he showed the same commitment to improve himself that Stevie did last summer, he would be worth holding on to. However, he just seems to be a whiner who goes running to the press to air his grievances. No club or manager would stand for that. Close the door on your way out Blumer.

Re: elano
just a measure of how blaze we the city faithfull have become in such a short period of time. I like elano and do think that when used properly was really effective for us , and dont forget the penalties and free kicks. But since les has been in charge his chances have been limited. I think the player himself sees this summer as the one where city will bring in a lot of expensive players (and yes he is right) and sees he would have more chance of first team football away from here. If he stays i will be glad but if he goes i will wish him well and thank him for his perfect penalty record and memorys like "that" free kick against the useless barcodes.

Re: elano
To be fair to Hughes, I don't think it's all down to him. Elano was one of Sven's buys yet I don't recall him pulling up too many trees in the second half of last season when he was regularly in the team (when Sven was still in charge).

I for one am certainly not a "blaze" City fan, thank you.
It is time some people took off the Elano goggles and looked properly.
As for not enough opportunitys he has played and i have taken this off mcfc.
11 Elano league games 20 (8 ) cup games 10 (4) league goals 6 cup goals 2
So including sub appearances he has played 42 games and netted 8 goals.
and what was it 7 from pens ?

walfie walfie walfie, i never said you, i said "we" , its a general thing because we have money and our expectations have been lifted. Just think back only as far as the pearce days and then a little further to the days when we were bobbing up and down the leagues, we would have killed for a player like elano, it just amazes me how quickly our standards have changed as fans.

Re: elano
Yes we would thats why we worshiped Kinky and really how well did he do for us ?
Answer honestly.
Lovely player in a team of shit grafters, but he couldnt get away from a lower league man markers, who then preceded to kick the shit out of him.
Elano dosnt have that excuse.
Also if he was a shit player not putting the effort in, i would be saying the same thing tbh.
To many people put him up on a pedestal after the yawn years of Pearce and a fantastic start to his life at City.
A teriffic talent when he wants and for me that is the key point WHEN he wants and that isnt often enough for a lad that would kill to play in that shirt

Skill wise, with out a doubt mate.
Good for the team and the role in the team Barry has been bought for, doubt it.
Besides i would take Ireland over Elano in the AM slot everday of the week and Barry will be his protector, it isnt a shocker that Gerrard loves playing with him (fnar fnar) is that not recomendation enough ?

I think the boss doesn't fancy him and now he's got the backing of Khaldoon, he feels like he has no other option than to leave.

Its no good having bags of skill if you dont bring it onto the pitch more often and go missing over winter.

Mmmmmmmm. But has a massive attitude problem. If he isn't playing he goes whining to the media instead of working his arse off to get back into the sqaud.maineman wrote:i want him to stay, hes better than some of the the shite we have in our squad, and with the right players around him he would be even better.

Bullshit. Barry is a far more effective purchase for our team than Elano.
If i could i'd happily keep both, as City fans we're not used to having a squad, and we need to realise that palyers will be rotated in the coming years.
I don't get the blind backing of a player who has used our club so blantantly to his own gain yet to dismiss the talent this man has as a footballer is also absolutely crazy.
For me, his temprement has now overshadowed his talent. The cruel nature of it is we will have the chance to replace him the is summer with a better player of the right ilk. I'd sever our ties with him now whilst he wants it, make this whole process as speedy and amicable as possible.
