Hughes has failed

Post by shinpads on May 16th 2009, 19:09

Dont care what anyone says, leslie has failed hugely this season, 2 wins away from home is simply not good enough, its even a step backwards from last seasons abysmal away form when we won 3. 100m spent looking like no improvement in league position and less points. Yes we had a jolly in europe, but failed against the first decent opposition we came up against. We had the basis of a decent side , hughes additions have in reality made no impact whatsoever. Out of both domestic cups at the first hurdle against basicay shit opposition. While 7th was still there before today that would if we had achieved it have defelected the attention from another underachieving season. Maybe someone can tel me what hughes has brought to the table that we didnt have last season under sven.

Get that welsh fucker away from my club now.

Welcome in his Mr Special one city.

It will be like this if jose joins.

Special one 3 spurs 0

Today some team with bags of cash managed by jose "the special one" won and in other news Jose the special one scratched his arse.

Next week the special one takes his team to Arsenal and in other news, the arab money rich teams chairmen met jose and had a spot of lunch to discuss transfers.

Manchester city fc will not exist.

oh grow up, the clues are there, lose 2-1 or win 3-0 which would you prefer , you take too much notice of the cartoon Razz

Jose's record is immense, and would add to the rich tappestry that is citys history.

City will always be there

I've said it before. Jose does love the attention.

Going to the rags after Sir Phallux will not appeal, he would either carry on winning things and no-one would care, or bomb, and receive negative press.

Bringing City out of their slumber...fuck he would love that.

Who do we bring in with the qualities to build a long term successful and powerful future?

Jose has just won the League at Inter, in his first season. So liklihood is he's back in they're good books for now. He's a journeyman:

Benfica - 1 season
Uniao De Leiria - 2 season
Porto - 2 seasons
Chelsea - 3 seasons
Inter - 1 season so far...

He won with Porto, a team that already had Carvalho, Deco, Maniche, Bosingwa. He won with Chelsea, a team that had finished 2nd in the Premier League before he arrived with the then richest owner in the league. He moves to Inter which has won 3 back to back titles.

So he has charisma and silverware, but he's never built anthing... he's taken over a ship which is already sailing at the front of the pack. He's a big name in England because of the media but he's got very little more credentials than our current manager when it comes to the job in hand.

Like i've said over on BM, how anyone can claim to judge Hughes should 100% go should really take a nother look. Its ludicrous that in the biggest transitional season perhaps any football club has ever been in that people can deem a manager isnt good enough and back it up simply on the statisicts of our results. Conveniently mislaying all the variables both on and off the pitch.

You should know by now Chris. You can't get away with making sensible posts like this one over there. Yesterday evening was ridiculous over there. Getting very disillusioned with that place.
