Hows hughes going to play him should Kaka sign?

I'm hoping he picks up the mantel and gets even better. I'd PMSL if he kept our superstar on the bench because he's playing well.

No need to worry, I really can't see Kaka signing now, I'd love him to but thinking about it it isnt looking too good to me.

Dont know, maybe I'm just being negative today to protect myself if it goes to shit Shocked

I mean I really really want this to happen, I think it could be the single most important and significant moment in the clubs history one day but if it doesnt go through then it does raise a lot of questions.

Fuck it, who knows what's going on. We can read so much into everything good and bad. I think I'm just being a moody twat Rolling Eyes

I would love to see Kaka at City, but I won't be heartbroken if he doesn't come. If we can get a good holding MF (De Jong?), a reliable CH (Carvalho?) and a decent striker (not easy to find one of those, but what about Crouch?). Build us into a top 6/7 team, then go out for the star names. I won't be heartbroken if Kaka does come though!!

Perhaps it's just a lifetime of being a blue that's making me feel like this, we've always been the loveable idiots to some degree and for that reason I suppose I'm somewhat pre conditioned to anticipate this blowing up in our faces.

I knew when we became insanely rich that we'd struggle in the league, it's how we operate.

I hope to god I'm wrong though.

Yeah I can see your point Jim, I just think the Kaka thing is our BIG statement, you know? And if it goes to shit we'll have lost some degree of face so to speak.

I know we can become succesful without Kaka but it wont look good if he turns us down, we need to prove we can sign players that can take us to where we want to go, we need to be an attractive prospect for these players. Robinho was bought under very strange circumstances.

Good point re. the loss of face Quinny. That would be the major downside. The press would have a field day. "City not good enough for Kaka" or "Who do City think they are?"

Ok I'm feeling a bit more 'up' now, I know that we can sign several players of a lesser stature and still be succesful, we've still got Robinho and if Kaka doesnt want to come here he can fuck off and rot in an aging Milan team that WONT win any major honour before we do.
