Agreed. Why the delay? The pitch wasn't playable yesterday, and they knew the forecast for last night. Still, at least it gives our injured players one less game to miss (does that make grammatical sense?).

Now 'arry has left, I don't mind Pompey again. I have family there and I lived there for a short while myself. It's a great city, and if you think we hate the rags, it's nothing compared to their hatred of Southampton. Even the local paper refers to people from Southampton as 'Scummers'

The local pub I drank in was great, the people where really welcoming and friendly, loads of banter about football etc.
It was classed as a private drinking club and not a pub. The landlord installed an intercom, if they didn't know you, you didn't get in. Our kid had been in a few times so I was let in.
When I asked what the buzzer was for, I was told it was it was to keep out undesirables. It was only after a bit of digging that I found out that undesirable meant black or Asian. I was fucking gobsmacked, I couldn't believe it. It wasn't a knuckle dragging BNP pub, it was an old fashioned boozer, with old men with dogs and everything.
Apparently before he installed the intercom, he had a sign on the door that said NO BLACKS NO PAKIS NO PIKEYS, but the council made him take it down.
Needless to say I didn't go in again. Last I heard it had been demolished.

Not that long ago mate, about ten years. The weekend I found out, one of my best mates was coming from London for a night out, we were going to start the night there, It wouldn't have gone down that well, he was from Trinidad
