The Silver lining
Hi all,
First post on this forum, so hello to everyone...
OK, yes I agree....It's a disgrace that a team in the premiership has to call off games due to a frozen pitch.
But
this could be a blessing in disguise. Look at our record this season against teams below us in the league. Poor (to say the least). As well as this, we would not have had Robinho, Ireland and SWP so our attacking threat would have been very limited. Also, players have mentioned that with the vigorous training and the busy schedule this year, they are feeling the strain on their muscles. This will give us an extra weeks rest which I imagine will help a lot of players recoup some of their strength.
We also have another week to get some new players in and strengthen our team before the next game.
I know that it is a bit of a piss take not having a game, and personally I would have loved to see us play today. But for once, lets look on the positive side...

Re: The Silver lining
What a joke Portsmouth are.
But still, hopefully give us more time to get some players in and/or get players fit.
When will it be played?

Re: The Silver lining
I'm glad.
We would have been without Sweep, Ireland and ROBINHO , this gives us an extra week to have a bit of a rest and sort our shit out, could well be a real boost for the rest of the season, or at least the next few games.

You'll enjoy it down here. Wankers are (more or less!) no-existent. I was made very welcome when I sneaked in, so you should be O.K. Personally, I think it's a blessing not having a game today (Gives Rob and SWP more time to get over their injuries.
