If we don't get at least 2 wins out the next 3 games, he will be out

Re: hughes out
I'm all for giving him time, but some of the things I'm reading make me wonder.
If he's intent to build a 'grafting' blackburn-esque team, is that the kind of football I want to pay to watch each week?
If he can't keep the Brazillians happy and instead plays
hard-workering, but poorer players...who do we want in? The brazil boys
or Hughes?
I've said it time and time again, I've never seen us win anything of
note, but I'm not arsed. It would be nice, yes, but I'd prefer to spend
my money on watching good, entertaining football, than on boring,
grinding, winning 1-0 football.
I just don't know...which is probably why I love City.

Re: hughes out
Well the owner has said his job is safe, and that he will have money for January.
Pretty impressed, don't really get owners coming out saying that in public.

An opinionated bastard who believes he's centre of the universe and everyone who disagrees with him is of a lesser opinion, a lesser person and shouldn't support City. Of course he's been spouting all this from across the pond recently.
I believe that in 'real life' he's apparently a top guy though.

Really nice guy, really. He's usually pretty balanced, but after Sven-gate, his logic seems to have gone AWOL.

Re: hughes out
There are a few people on there that used to have a similar opinion but now seem to swing between the the two camps, you find your having a debate with them about the futures bright or your both defending dunne against the haters and a day later they are saying the opposite its just mad.
Also there seems an anti irish theme runs through quite a few people on there at the moment.
Its mad, mad i tells you

damn right, he's got a huge agenda against Hughes. He comes across as one of the most unpleasent people i'd wish to meet.

Re: hughes out
I've had enough of Hughes, get rid.
Stability is one thing, sticking with a twat is an other thing entirely.
Let's take our time, get a REAL manager lined up then kick Hughes the fuck out of our club. Quick, clean, no mess.

Wait till after jan. If hughes can get a decent defensive mid (Lassana Diarraplease) then the team will be soo much better.

diarra is average at best and gets on average one yellow every game, we need someone a bit more cultured and reliable. If we buy him lesley will be returning to his clogger days with blackburn, and I for one will know he has failed big time.

I think he is a good player and still only 22 (or 23). He will become amazing.shinpads wrote:João Silva wrote:Wait till after jan. If hughes can get a decent defensive mid (Lassana Diarraplease) then the team will be soo much better.
