Wigurn V City
I think Les will keep the side that whooped Pompey and will want a win after last night.
I suspect we'll draw as those bastards seem to have a premier league hoodoo over us.
0-0

I think Hughes will have put a rocket up their collective arse and we will get another bagful.

Re: Wigurn V City
It's always been a bogey ground which doesn't help when the ref is bending over for some Merrick cock.
Re: Wigurn V City
We're sounding like rags blaming the ref. Should be walking over teams like Wigan tbh, gelled team or no gelled team.
Too many didn't turn up today, Rob and Jo specifically.

I am angry. Not sure why. I just am. Never normally angry after a loss.

The ref was utter gash but Robinho might as well have stayed at home. Ruined my Sunday, and you think I'd be used to it by now.

Why should we be walking over Wigan?
we havnt yet ever in the prem.
It is not being a rag to say the ref was awfull, bad penalty given against and for and most of the fouls went there way.
We didnt play well tbh kicked out of it by half time
played 6 won 3 lost 3
are you unhappy ?
i am a touch, chelsea the only defeat i could stomach, they were better. Villa mad 7 mins ripped appart (minus dunne) and this game hmmmmm a draw would of been fairer if im being honest.

Only because I want us to be beating shit teams (let's face it, they do play a shocking, horrible brand of football) IN SPITE of them kicking us, or the ref being on their team, great teams do that.
And I don't want us whingeing about things every time we lose, Sven NEVER blamed the ref, even at Birmingham, even at home to Fulham, and we are better than that.
I'm unhappy because we're not consistent...I know we'll get there, I know 5 of our players haven't been here long..but FUCK I'm just annoyed!

Re: Wigurn V City
It probably would've been fairer, you're right, but you have to admit we didn't do much to help ourselves going forward. Jo and Robinho especially were both abysmal.bluealf wrote:quiet_riot wrote:We're sounding like rags blaming the ref. Should be walking over teams like Wigan tbh, gelled team or no gelled team.

I'd love to know how, when one team is given a constant unfair advantage, we're meant to able to play our own game and "walk" over teams?

Re: Wigurn V City
to neblue
jo was ok not brilliant
i agree robinho had his first game against the kickers of this world and im afraid they won also swp had his worst game back here.
They bullied us and the ref let them (fuck you qr lol) when we kicked back we got done.
They were maybe more up for a fight right from the off, we tried to play football they didnt, they won.
Now we know what being an arsenal fan is like lol
I am dissapointed but not disheartend, god we have seen worse.
We are going the right way.
The future is blue infact its fucking light/sky/lazer blue

"Playing our own game" won't win matches against sloggers, we need to adjust to how they play and do it better than they do. I'm not saying kick the kickers, but we need to be a cut above if we're going to be the top four club we want to be, because teams are not going to stand by and let us play like we did last week.

And as you saw today, whenever we got anwhere near them, the ref blew for a freekick to them.
So we can't do that, what else can we do?

Walfie, it probably was SWP's worst game since he came back, but surely he was still one of our best players today?

I think Hughes should have told us to be more rigid in the second half... the fluidity worked against Pompey but not today.
Wright Philips and Robinho drifted into no mans land off the wing far too often and dried up our outlets.
