city fans
ok, here's my take on the mindset of some city fans.
what has been evident these past couple of weeks, particularly since the annihaltion of pompey, is the sheer deluded notion that we have already got a team that are world beaters. this happened last season too.
yes in general the performances have been great and a joy to watch, but why don't people learn that any real success takes months if not years. i understand the yearning to look for the positives after some of the shite these last 30 years but to base it one match? case in point....ched evans, scores his first senior goal and some think he will be a legend.
why don't some fans realise that city have had so many new dawns that invariably we find ourselves at day one again every year or so.patience is something that city fans have had to have, but surely they understand by now that continuity and foundations have to be put in place for at least one or two seasons before any true picture can be seen?
Extreme kneejerk reactions to any one game at this time is what pisses me off, whether it be a wonderful performance or a night like last night.
I do wish some fans would grow a few brain cells.
(this is not a go at anyone on here, as i think we are all quite a balanced lot....it's some on BM that piss me off).

Re: city fans
I've seen it all before Sharon, lots of false dawns. I'm usually grumpy as fuck when city lose, but for some reason, I'm not in that bad a mood today. I think I realise that this time, we are genuinely going places, and this is just a temporary hiccup. I also realise it's still city, so the odd fuck up should be expected.
The future is Blue, we may take a while to get there and it will be bumpy as fuck along the way. We will get there though, our time has finally arrived.
